Field Inspector Hydrology

The purpose of the role is to be accountable for daily field inspection of all hydrology facilities or construction at mining or outer mine area, such as in-pit mine drainage, perimeter drainage, perimeter bund, culvert, check dam, MHR drainage, disposal drainage, Quarry drainage, settling pond, logistic road drainage, tower line drainage, pipeline drainage, etc. This role also should be able to provide recommendation for guidance or direction of those hydrology works which refers to assessments and recommendations from hydrology engineers. This role also maintains harmonious relations with regional and national Directorate Energy and Mine Resources Department, with objective to ensure effective implement and compliance with government regulation (Kepmen ESDM No. 1827 K/30/MEM/2018, Permen LHK No. 9/2016, Permen LHK No. 5/2021, PP No. 22/2021, etc.) to support production levels through maintaining the smooth, effective and efficient flow of goods within the overall statutory requirements.

Tanggung Jawab

• Implement and established policies and regulations from department of energy and mineral resources according to “Keputusan Menteri ESDM Nomor 1827 K 30 MEM 2018” to achieve mining best practice mainly related with hydrology aspects.
• Daily field inspection and reporting, to monitor compliances of all hydrology facilities or construction and runoff water management at mining/outer mine area, such as in-pit mine drainage, perimeter drainage, perimeter bund, culvert, check dam, MHR/public road drainage, disposal drainage, Quarry drainage, settling pond, tower line drainage, pipeline drainage, mine dev and mine effluent project etc related with assessment and recommendations of hydrology design capacity and compliance.
• Daily reporting for visual monitoring of hydrology facilities and create database inspection base on powerbi
• Communicate and explanation of hydrological recommendations based on field inspection to mining operations.
• Follow up and ensure hydrological recommendations have been implemented properly.
• Comprehend to understand and implement hydrology assessment independently without assistance of hydrology engineers.
• Working closely with mining operation or contractor for supervision of remediation for any specified hydrology issues.

Kualifikasi

• Minimum of 6–18 months of relevant experience, with a Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Engineering. Degrees in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Environmental Engineering
• Preferably holds a POP certification and has completed additional courses related to Geotechnical and Hydrology exposure
• Understand basic principle of hydrology engineering especially related with runoff water management and water runoff treatment
• Basic report writing skills
• Able to operate MS Office software (Ms. Excel, Ms. Word, Ms. Power Point, Ms. Project)
• Able to operate Powerbi, Qgis, Arcgis, Vulcan.
• Able to speak English active and passive
• Able to communicate properly with all levels
• SIM A (Mandatory).
